Fundraising Launch
Kilcullen Community Playgroup New Childcare and Family Centre Building Campaign Update
The campaign by Kilcullen Community Playgroup (Naomh Bríde) to build a new Community Childcare and Family Centre is going from strength to strength. In April we had meeting with our local representatives on Kildare County Council and we were encouraged by their support and commitment to the project. We also had a very enlightening meeting with potential funders for the building and we’re satisfied that, with a lot of hard work and assistance from the community, the Centre can become a reality.
But… we need your help and support to achieve this. Our goal is to raise €40,000 locally and match this with capital funding from other sources. This means that every €1 we receive as a donation will be worth €15 to the entire project. This will be a vital and important resource for every member of our community so please get involved in the campaign or show your support by making a donation.
The campaign was officially launched on Saturday the 14th of May at 11 am, on the site of the proposed new building, beside the existing Naomh Bríde Community
Playgroup. We will be announcing details of the Centre and of our fundraising activities for the coming months. Come along for some treats and entertainment and meet the Working Group and find out how you can get involved in the campaign.

The Working Group for the Campaign to build a new Childcare and Family Centre in Kilcullen are seeking people with experience in the construction, engineering,
architectural, surveying and project management professions to form a voluntary Technical Advisory Group for the new building. This is a great opportunity to become involved in a local capital development project. If you are interested in the project and have a few hours to spare every month please call Iseult at 086 8519361.
